    Setup centralized testing unit for customer with processes around Demand Management, Transition, Delivery and Transformation.
    Submitted business case to LOB to move to centralized testing unit.
    Assessment of LOB to create detailed transition plan & to identify best practices and areas of improvement around areas organization, Infrastructure, Tools & Processes.
    Instrumental in estimation and execution of Multi-year client contract.
    Onsite team Rampup (25) with optimum mix of business and testing experts.
    Smooth execution of transition plan to transition 225+ associates unit of work to my organization in record 13 weeks (3 week ahead of schedule) with customer sign-off for each work streams and deliverables.
    Provisioning of real-time online reporting system for testing progress to eliminate manual reporting of test execution on daily basis.
    Established Test Management office for work orders, Billing, Demand Management, Invoicing, KPI Monitoring, Client satisfaction surveys, forecasts, Bench Management, Governance report, Resource utilization etc.

    All the benefits of working for a large corporation including good benefits and a large network.
    For a consulting company the culture is friendly and helpful
    I enjoy working for Capgemini

    -Difficult to find direction without a good manager to help guide your career
    -Focus too much on recycling old solutions and not on innovating as much as they should

    Pros

    Decent benefits in the US, considerable leeway to create your own solutions to challenges, both internal and with clients. Can be some global travel (if that is a plus for you) and certainly dedicated employees.

    Cons

    Promotions from within are scarce and practically never come with appropriate salary adjustments. You are basically capped out at max 5% increase for a promotion and can be well below market value for the position. You need to be hired from the outside of the firm to get market value. The company always seemed to be in a cost-cutting mode in order to make financial targets, which can be a bit demoralizing year after year.

    Advice to Management

    Pay people a market-rate salary when they take on a new role within the company and they take on more responsibility. Don't try to sell it as a lateral move or claim that the corporate max increase is 5%.

    Pros

    Good work culture, though it depends on which account you work with. Overall, great people who wants to make difference.

    Cons

    Internal processes could be pain. Ready to have patience... It would sort out but will take time and could be frustrating.

    Advice to Management

    Make internal processes easy and specially people who owns shares services accountable. Most of the time we see people with I don't care attitude in internal services.
