    Pros

Peers are friendly. Culture is pretty good. You need to enjoy travel.

    Cons

Project managers tend to aggressively set timelines so long hours are common

    Advice to Management

Execs at the top always say not to "ghost" hours, but project managers will push things so that working those extra hours are necessary to get all the work done. This needs to be fixed.

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No pros that you wouldn't receive at any other consulting firm

    Cons

Horrible middle management. They do not retain their talent. Every employee is treated as a number. They lose on price to the pure play companies and they can't keep up with the larger consulting firms. They only thing worse than my experience working for some of their managers what the impersonal and unprofessional exit process.

    Advice to Management

    Do better

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of opportunities to progress if you put in the effort.
    Smart leadership team.
I feel that I am well paid.

    Cons

The hours can get pretty long depending on what project you are on.
It is very likely that there isn't a position on a local account and you can end up traveling every week. It is consulting after all.

    Advice to Management

Do your best to improve the work life balance on the tough projects. Its hard to do that and stay competitive but its a double edged sword because that's how you lose some of your best people.
