I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The freedom and responsibilities you get and the way you are master of you own destiny. Finding your way in the company is really up to you.

    Cons

Not very good communication and people management. The salary can be better so the appreciation must come from other factors and I miss that at the moment.

    Advice to Management

Look after your people and let them feel appreciated

I have been working at Capgemini full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people at Capgemini are very open and willing to help each other out. In case you do a good job, you can be involved in some nice projects

    Cons

Since the organization is very large, you really need to be very proactive in order to be noticed and to get onto the nicer projects.

    Advice to Management

What I miss is that their is (when people are on projects) no space to develop new/innovative capabilities. It feels like we are always following rather than leading, while there are plenty of smart people that do have vision within the company. You cannot expect that people will use their spare time to develop these things.

A lot is possible since its a big organization. Its all about your network

    Pros

Capgemini used to be a very good employer in the 90's. Very good education, career, prospects and Colleagues.
