    Cons

Consultancy so often roles are not necassarily the correct fit
    Limited scope for promotion

    Advice to Management

Look to develop current employee's rather than bringing in hired help

I worked at Capita full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Nice staff members
    - Tea and coffee station
    - Thorough training, training team are all lovely

I'm only writing this for the 20 word minimum

    Cons

    - Undervalued staff
    - Extremely high staff turnover (some staff have resigned with no other job lined up)
    - Unprofessional office manager
    - Capita are very stingy and milk staff for all they're worth
    - Restrictive environment
    - Too much work as so many staff have quit
    - Lack of progression
    - Productivity is measure on a system that is currently inaccurate, managers know this but still use it as the reason to not give a pay rise (unbelievable, I know...)
    - Cheap company that skrimps on things such as quick computers
    - Employees are treated like they are just a number

    Advice to Management

Employee engagement meetings are useless because all you do is note the watered down versions of work issues.

Even when the notes are made there are no chances. I've genuinely never experienced such low morale in a work place. Over 15 members of staff have either left or are working their notice in August 2017 alone!

I hope the contract somehow crashes and burns and is passed on to a company who cares about their staff.

    Pros

Capita is a longstanding company. There are many different industries within Capita. Interview and application process is straightforward.

    Cons

Management is not the best. Most employees complain but keep working there as it's quite an 'easy' job. Advancing or learning new things is very rare. Capita has a very bad reputation.

I have been working at Capita full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Competitive pay, internal opportunities. Generous benefits package. Lots of international training CPD globe.

    Cons

Too much buearocractic & authoritarian management style. Short term thinking. Poor work life balance, staff coerced into working extended hours.

I worked at Capita full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I enjoy working under pressure and able to add value to my employer. Capita gave me the opportunity to learn and develop.

    Cons

There is no clear salary structure, and internal promotion gives very little increase. An external applicant will definitely get a lot more money than an internal candidate, which is very unfair.

    Advice to Management

Reward internal promotions with fair salary increase.

I worked at Capita full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It is a big group and company policies are clear

    Cons

The company has a culture of penny punching and stinginess in general. They don't invest on employees. They were literally milking the cow, in this case Birmingham City Council. They had positive results year after year, but not a single perk or bonus was ever shared with employees.
