I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Autonomy, work /life balance, empowered, interesting services and products in Group

    Cons

poor communication from leaders who don't support each other, colleagues often don't take responsibility, no direction or strategy

    Advice to Management

It may be too late as already losing clients but need to have an identity and a strategy that everyone understands and works too

I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible working hours. Suits Mother’s trying to juggle work life balance

    Cons

Staff are treated abismily. Communication is beyond poor. The business model does not work. Broken promises with very unnaproachable management team. Senior management male top heavy. Lots of little men in suits. Facilities verging on a health hazard. Not basic sanitary. Tatty run down offices. Literally non existent HR presence. Avoid this place like the plague

    Advice to Management

Tough to say. This place needs a miracle.
Bare minimum stick to your own so called company values

I worked at Capita Resourcing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible working, understand remote working, good with Mum's returning to work.

    Cons

A shambles, the model is a mess, nobody in the rest of capita wants to use the service, they charge wooden fees and then report that to the stock market, so they are moving money around capita to fudge the books, senior managers have pointed fingers at their friends in order to gain promotions.

    Advice to Management

When you agree to ambitious financial targets don't pin your failure on your friends!

I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time

    Pros

Some amazingly talented colleagues that are supportive of each other. An exciting company with lots of moving arms and legs. You can learn lots if you take the time and effort.

    Cons

SLT are great at selling the dream, but not so great at sharing the plan of how we're going to realise the dream. No MD in place for far too long, so COO is spread too thin. I wouldn't recommend joining at the moment, but interesting to see what happens in the next year or so when things have settled.

    Advice to Management

Employ an MD! Stop panicking and take a step back. Don't assume that selling the dream is enough. You need to communicate how we're going to get there.

I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time

    Pros

I genuinely can't think of a single one.

    Cons

Capita Resourcing is without doubt the worst run business I have ever had the misfortune to work for. The senior management team’s high level of incompetence is only surpassed by their over-inflated opinion of themselves.

    Advice to Management

Leave and give someone with integrity and ability a chance.

I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time

    Pros

You aren’t micromanaged and can work with autonomy which can be stifled in a big company. Opportunity to improve processes in place. Good career progression for those that want it and regular reviews focused on development. Lots of flexibility which a lot of companies won’t offer.

    Cons

It can sometimes be hard to get good salary increase unless you have been promoted, however lots of big FTSE companies are the same. This has improved though over the last year.

I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent work/life balance and there is a great deal of positive change and investment going in to our business to create more opportunities to grow and learn.

    Cons

Not very much learning or development offered as they have in the past had a tendency to keep you in a job rather than support you with development so that you can move in to new roles or opportunities.

I have been working at Capita Resourcing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Good people.
    Office location is good

    Cons

Managers are clueless - no people management skills or experience. Promoted into roles due to a face fit culture and being friends with the higher ups.

Office is disgusting. Things often break without being repaired for weeks, if at all.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps think about a change of team managers. Lots of good recruiters have left due to a couple of individuals who seem to get away with poor management and poor decisions time and time again.
