    Pros

Management is great. The company thrives on feedback which is a great idea.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Review medical out of pocket cost. Maybe give just a little less somewhere else to help with the medical premium.

I have been working at Capital Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Private financial firm with long-term views and great results with a unique highly collaborative culture. Firm is very fair compensation-wise and long-term is attractive for high-performers.

    Cons

Since it's a great place to work .. more tenured employees which means opportunities for promotion come less often and fewer than the industry norm.

    Advice to Management

The collaborative and cooperative culture is what differentiates Capital Group from other financial firms .. also that culture permeates all areas of the firm and that's amazing. Don't change that.

    Pros

Great café food at the Irvine location; great work-life balance, low stress, supportive co-workers and managers, a horizontal hierarchy structure, people are treated with respect.

    Cons

Ultra conservative office culture. Feels like you're constantly walking on egg shells. People come to work and goes home; very little interactions afterhours since most people who live in the area have families.

    Advice to Management

Managers need to come up with a clear path for ambitious employees for possible promotion, even if it's not within the same department.

    Pros

People are nice and treat you with respect, very good benefits, competitive pay, lots of opportunity for growth within the company, interesting work and very nice office spaces and amenities.

    Cons

Hours worked prized over results of your work, could be more flexible in terms of working remotely, more support for working moms would be nice, upward mobility challenging in investment operations.
