I worked at Capitol Honda full-time (More than a year)
None at all. Not really anything good to say. Glass door just making me write twenty words so it looks better.
Like a typical new car dealer on the fixed ops side, they hardly have enough work to feed the mechanics they have so they hire more. Work load consists of about 75% warranty and 25% customer pay. Honda is famous for cutting labor times for warranty work to the mechanics but expect every car to be fixed the first time. This practice causes mechanics to throw parts at cars in attempt to fix faster so they can make money. Mechanics are paid by the job and not hourly. Capitol Honda does a horrible job of delegating the work to the proper trained mechanics and tend to feed the guys they like and starve the ones they don't like. Mechanic turn over rate is extremely high. They have a few guys that have been there a long time, but those are the ones who are fed constantly.
