    Gives you a great training which makes sense when you are on the floor

    Cons

    The management is not very supportive when it comes to shareing the sales with other coworkers

    Appreciate more the work of employees which work hard to get the sales and don't give the customers to other consultant so easily

    I have been working at CarMax (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Can be fun at your times meeting new customers.

    Cons

    Being forced to be the messenger when people come in and want there car appraised. People can be so mean and rude when they are told what Carmax will give them. Its FREE and they don't understand Kellyblue book is just not something we use. 5 day money back sucks because we loose our Entire commission. Carmax needs to come up with a process where sales consultant dont have to appraise cars its not fair..And then we graded if we don't buy enough!!I don't know if higher UPS know how stressful that is!!

    Advice to Management

    Corporate management PLEASE look at the appraisal process!! It really sucks for SC!! I dont know if you care but SC HATE them!! And we don't get anything when a customer attaches it to a deal?? More work and less pay! Wrong!!

    Pros

    One of the best employer in US - among 100 best companies.

    Cons

    Only commission job for Sales Consultants.

    Advice to Management

    Employees are always important who everyday provides the fresh blood to keep company running.
