    Pros

Cool perks from media vendors, some cool people work here

    Cons

Carat is a revolving door. If you are into low pay, 6-7 day work weeks, long hours, and corporate politics this is the place for you. Little-to-no training, very few managers care about your professional development.

    Advice to Management

Act like you actually care about your employees

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Carat full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Endless amount of free food and gifts
    -Great hands on experience
-Learn quickly in a fast paced environment
-Opportunity to work on big accounts
    -Great Social functions
-Able to take on more responsibilities and prove yourself

    Cons

-Party environment very similar to college, everyone wants to get drunk together
-If you don't like to party with coworkers on weekdays, you don't fit in
-Upper management plays favorites, promotions go to the people on the team who are the most liked
-Many unqualified people holding Upper Management positions
-No sense of work/life balance, leaving at 6 o'clock is almost unheard of
-Very high rate of turnover, your work is always being added to because someone else has left

    Advice to Management

-Invest in employees early on so they have a desire to get promoted and climb the ladder within the company. Hiring from the outside shows us that we are not valued and that people with less experience can walk right in with higher pay.
