    Pros

Very supportive staff and flexibility with scheduling. Great opportunities to continue education and collaborate with other professionals. Recognized in the community as a reputable facility.

    Cons

Salary is fair compared to other local facilities; however, there are benefits that counteract it-- closed on holidays, able to take half days without using PTO, as needed.

    Advice to Management

No advice recommended at this time. Management is very supportive and understanding towards employees and will provide constructive feedback to improve quality of care.

I worked at Cardinal Hill Healthcare System full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

To see the miracles that occur on a daily basis with the clients .Just getting to be a small part of this for 23 years was a blessing to me.

    Cons

No raises, too much money spent on building new wings and not enough on staffing and education. Clients did not get to stay as long for rehab like they used to when I first started.

Great non-profit with a mission to provide quality care.

    Cons

Pay is not up to par with other nursing opportunities in the community.

    Pros

This is a wonderful place to begin a career in occupational therapy. The teamwork between the therapists within the department is great. Flexible schedule as long as it serves the companies needs.

    Cons

There is really nowhere to move "up" within the system. And compensation is less than other places, due to the fact that this is a non-profit charity. Hours are long due to client's most needed times.
