I have been working at Cardinal Logistics Management full-time

    Pros

new equipment, management is really good at fixing any issues with the equipment immediately if they are told about it. Management Jessie doesn't come from a trucking background but does an outstanding job as a driver manager, when you do a good job it is noticed and rewarded.

    Cons

So far I don't know of any cons,

    Advice to Management

keep doing what your doing cause you do it well

    Pros

I have nothing positive to say about this company.

    Cons

Don't pay the employees correctly, management cares about themselves and 1 manager is living/dating with a Ops supervisor. Everyone that is still there because they have to pay bills. If you aren't old school & in w/ the 'good old boys' don't bother taking any matters to H.R., they'll just laugh and tell you it was 'addressed'. Don't fall for the promises they tell you in the beginning, if you apply for a sales role you won't stay. My tenure was just shy of a year and after 4 months I was the senior sales person... It's just sad & they don't want to do anything better.

I worked at Cardinal Logistics Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I found nothing positive about this organization

    Cons

No procedures in place, no one will back you in any decisions, profanity is the first language, all about the bottom line and not the employees, most employees are stating the feel like slaves and are only there because they have to pay bills, poor benefit package, low pay, long hours and no training in place. Management makes poor decisions and feels their screw up is your emergency.

    Advice to Management

    Get a clue!

    Pros

Most people are great and the customer service is outstanding. Food is plentiful!

    Cons

Management has unrealistic visions and don't particularly care about the employees, just the bottom line. Can't retain good people.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the employees and their happiness and you'll see improvements when people like their job

    Pros

Not any good things to say about this unprofessional out of state company! !!

    Cons

This company will take advantage of you by stealing your 400 safety bonus and keeping it in there own company coffers and not declaring it in Massachusetts taxes. If you complain they cut your hours and make impossible to make any money. My advise from a 43yr veteran driver is"don't even think about working for unprofessional company that doesn't have your best interest in mind!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!they will lie to you to get you in the door.

    Advice to Management

You should review your branch managers first hand in your Norwood Mass Chep Pallet Division! !!!

    Pros

Getting a day off is usually not a problem.

    Cons

Horible pay. Compaired to other positions, I make the same pay in 6 days per week as other companies pay in 5 days per week. Pay is per delivery + milage but the milage is predetermined. Milage pay does not pay extra for truck routes it's only flat rate, town to town.

    Advice to Management

This is hourly type of work. I have yet to break the $15.00 per hour average. This is $25 - 30 per hour job. Pay really needs to be increased.

I worked at Cardinal Logistics Management full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Quite honestly there are not any good reasons to work for this company.

    Cons

Poor pay and benefits. Could not properly run weekly payroll with out screwing up some drivers pay. Luckily for me I was in management. I could not believe the dis organization of this company. New processes were put in place, and not vetted correctly to even see if it could work. Took months for one of my employees to get there payroll situation fixed. I just ask how could this be? There safety department is an absolute joke. They do not care about the driver, just their liability. I am sure that Cardinal was ecstatic that the BASIC's were pulled off line to the general company. Unprofessional, unsafe.
