    911 Experience In depth orientation training Thorough field training program Better Equipment than any other private ambulance company Amazing people

    Cons

    Upper Management makes poor business decisions Scheduling Working in the LA County / Orange County EMS system as an EMT is rough. You're at the bottom of the food chain and it's very apparent.

    The partners you will meet, while some are not ideal, most will become life long friends. The people are Care Ambulance make the place enjoyable.

    Cons

    Upper management is a nightmare. Make sure you benefit from whatever they're asking of you because long term they do not care about you

    scheduling is tough at first, approved PTO is almost impossible. Better off calling out sick.

    Pros

    Get a lot experience with 911 calls. Higher standards than other ambulance companies. New equipment and excellent training.

    Cons

    Large company with a high turn over rate. Not much room for upward mobility.

    Pros

    A lot of OT so you could make more money Cool coworkers Get some cool calls occasionally

    Cons

    Dispatch will post you all night while another 24 hr car is asleep at their station Operation managers try to catch you doing wrong even when you’re innocent Not appreciated Instead of bonus’ they have bbq where they make burgers and hot dogs for employees, but not all of them get to go
