Dec 31, 2022 - Hospice RN Admissions Nurse in Danvers, MARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good culture, supportive management, feel like they truly listen to us
Cons
Stressful line of work with very emotional patient population, health insurance not the greatest.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Caring and supportive leaders and co-workers
Cons
Barely competitive pay, poor engagement from c-suite.
Thank you for your positive review regarding our supportive leaders and co-workers. Such support reflects our core values that sustain our mission to serve our patients, families and each other. Regarding compensation , we conduct extensive market surveys that compare our packages to what is offered by other nonprofit employers in our industry and region so that we can remain competitive. I am sorry we missed the mark on engagement from the c-suite. We pride ourselves in our Town Halls where employees can ask our Executive Team questions and are encouraged to share additional thoughts after the meeting. If you would like to discuss further, please speak to your manager or email Human Resources at HR@caredimensisons.org.

Working for Care Dimensions doesn't feel like a job!
Oct 21, 2021 - Registered Nurse, Case Manager in Danvers, MARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
I have been working for Care Dimensions for 6 years and will be with them for many more. Over the years I have only seen improvement in our company. They have decreased our Nurse/patient ratio (to the best of their ability given COVID pandemic), employee complaints/requests are always heard and improved upon unless unreasonable (Nurses making 6 figures are few and far between and probably miserable from the overtime!), and the vacation time available is, frankly, unheard of! As a single, full time working Mom it is super difficult to find enough time in the day to "do it all"! Hospice care is exhausting and Care Dimensions has always been mindful of much needed days off. Management is very reasonable and recognizes that family should always come first. Education is extensive given the sensitive nature of our field and I have never felt unsupported by my co-workers. This was truly impressive to me given that I am alone in my car, traveling to patient homes everyday. I had less support at previous jobs in acute care settings. "Choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life." Confucius I cannot say enough about Care Dimensions, from the top down this company whole-heartedly strives to take care of both patients and employees.
Cons
I would say the cons are not really concerning to me as the pros vastly outweigh them in comparison. However, I guess generally I have heard the salary is lower than that of other available RN positions. But for me, it is not an issue even being a single Mom because I believe in my job and I believe in my company 100%.

Pros
Positive, supportive, inclusive and collaborative tone at the top. The Executive Team is truly dedicated to the organization's mission and always prioritizes patient care - so because of that we employ the most special and amazing employees across all departments. Everyone has a "how can I help you" attitude. Pros: Tone at the top = A+, competitive fringe benefits, retirement plan and time off, supportive environment, robust in house IT support and equipment, hybrid/flexible schedules depending on your department, EXCELLENT orientation and thorough trainings/education, employee town halls, wellness development opportunities, employee engagement activities, volunteer opportunities and most importantly working for a company that takes care of the community by serving patients and their families when they need help the most.
Cons
None. Star ratings given in this review are based on non-profit companies. Please take into consideration that for profits may be able to pay more but quality of life and employee satisfaction and engagement can (should) outweigh a higher base pay.

Care Dimensions has always been non-profit and managed from the CEO down to Clinical Managers by former Nurses. We are patient and family care focused and have deep roots in the communities we serve in Massachusetts.
Cons
None that I can think of after over seven years of service.
