I worked at Care Unlimited part-time

    Pros

Phenominal office staff, works with the field staffs availability. Polite and caring. Treats field staff with respect.

    Cons

Some of the shifts can start at odd times, sometimes field staff are asked to take on cases that are pretty far to travel.

    Advice to Management

Don't take on cases in locations where you have limited staff.

I have been working at Care Unlimited part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Scheduler is pleasant. She will try to work with your availability.

    Cons

Working here for 7 years never a raise.
You get 1 week vacation a year if you work enough hours
No Christmas bonus, no invite to office party. You will receive the same thank you for your service letter every single year.

    Advice to Management

Get to know your nurses. Most of your nurses work in the home only with the patient it would be nice to include them in your office party, so they may be able to feel apart of the company, and be proud of it. Stop sending the same chain letter each year. Be sincere, maybe throw a small present our way. We do a lot for our home care kids. It would be nice to feel appreciated by the company.

    Pros

Great pay, Great people, Great management.

    Cons

I have very little bad things to say about this company. Maybe that the CEO should buy us lunch more than once a month? LOL Everyone I have met through this office has been such a stepping stone in making it through the obstacles. They all treat you like family and everyone is always there for each other in difficult times.

    Advice to Management

This is not exactly advice. However, this company is BY FAR the best company I have ever worked for. They cannot guarantee full-time. But it runs exactly how every other business runs; get your foot in the door and prove yourself. Once you have proven yourself, you gain a little more. I would recommend this company to anyone, whether it be service or a career.

    Pros

    Great pay and flexible hours.

    Cons

No consistent work. Have been promised work that never transpires.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees a chance to prove themselves. Better training and orientation for nurses that are going into the homes to take care of clients. 1 day orientations are not enough to train a nurse properly especially if they are working with equipment that they have never worked with before or dealing with medical problems that they have not dealt with before.
