    No opinion of CEO

I worked at CareFlite full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Plenty of opportunities for overtime, great chance to network with hospitals.

    Cons

You'll have to work holidays and only a select few of them are paid holidays, hard to get needed equipment from management, heavily political cliques in upper management, very little room to promote or even transfer within, very difficult to get time off.

    Advice to Management

Be more accommodating to your employees.

I have been working at CareFlite full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Lots of overtime available. In house card courses and free for employees.

    Cons

Extremely busy and over worked. Forced overtime. No seniority. No opportunity for growth. Less than 2% annual raises.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like they are valuable rather than cattle. Reward those who work more hours, ran all night with calls or has shown to be a great asset to the company. Give better raises than 1% annually even with a clear record. You can work here 3 years and only have a dollar raise.

I have been working at CareFlite full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Best private EMS in the area

    Cons

Very very busy with Inter Facility Transfers. Not the best equipment. Sprinter ambulances are the worst no matter what the CEO says. Waste of money on useless systems or items.

I have been working at CareFlite full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Experience, pay isn’t bad but from what I hear from friends elsewhere, CareFlite isn’t competitive. Slow to steady call volume.

    Cons

Management is disconnected from front line staff. Pay is average. Education department could use some major improvement. Vehicle fleet is in seriousness need of maintenance and replacement.

    Advice to Management

Get out and get to know your staff. I have co-workers who don’t even know who their director is or what they look like. Lead your staff, not manage them.
