    Negative Outlook

I have been working at CareMinders Home Care full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Initially I started working for CareMinders as a Director of Nursing. The franchise owner and staff were wonderful. The culture and our internal staff is wonderful. The owner is the most ethical / fair person I have ever worked for.

    Cons

Corporate support is terrible. The organization is a Dying franchise with limited resources. The CEO is rude and arrogant. Google CareMinders / Georgia Northern District Court and you will have everything you need to know about the corporate culture of this organization.

    Advice to Management

Shut your doors and move on, rather than making a full time hobby of litigating your remaining franchises.

    Advice to Management

Get it together because your unprofessional mistakes will scare away employees and consumers

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at CareMinders Home Care full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Locally owned and clinically owned. Devoted to patient needs and wants, strives hard to create a pleasant environment for clients, and has the clinical knowledge to be proactive with any diagnosis.

    Cons

Anytime a new company is created, the first couple of years can be challenging. CareMinders of Austin has the highest industry standards in the industry. These high standards limits the quantity of personnel available to hire. This makes it difficult to staff at times, but assures our clients that they're receiving the best care available.

    Advice to Management

Keep your standards high, the outcomes will speak for themselves.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at CareMinders Home Care full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly and laid back; do care about clients- just not employees. Will respond if patient has an emergency.

    Cons

Extremely low pay, constant changing of schedules, confusion, last minute communication and then passive aggressive "punishment" if you say no

    Advice to Management

Pay your people with something to offer, dont marginalize people. Stop punishing people by not communicating if something does not go your way. Clients always comment about your high turnover and inconsistency- maybe you should treat your caregivers better.
