I have been working at CareSouth part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is actually good but have to really work lots of hours to make money

    Cons

This company hires PRN promises promotions and future fulltime position. However that is not possible at the least. Office managers discuss clients and worker badly. They are unorganized and try to work you as fulltime but don't want you to receive the benefit.

    Advice to Management

Dont be so inconsiderate of your employees. Be professional in the office and stop taking badly about your field staff because they actually work hard and have better attitudes than the one's within the office

I have been working at CareSouth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The concept of helping the older population is nice but the reality is way off!!!!

    Cons

No help for office management, pay is terrible and treatment of employees is equally terrible, intense micro-management, focus is on bottom line not patients/clients, constant lies from upper-management, corporate culture of prejudice and unfairness

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees or better yet, get back into the field to really see what is really going on instead of sitting in your cozy offices micro-managing from your desks'

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at CareSouth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Local office is supportive, great staff, paperwork requirements are average, caseload is usually not too bad. There is a quota, but there is no punishment or award for making it or not making it. Fortunately the front line worker does not tend to have to deal with corporate level too often. For a home health company it is not as bad as some and others are better.

    Cons

Corporate level micromanages. All communication is top down and tech support is poor. Tends to put our policy without assist to implement or create support for it. Explanations for policies are totally lacking.

    Advice to Management

Provide increased support at the mid management level to allow some enthusiasm in the workplace. Corporate level has one way communication entirely with the emphasis on punitive.
