    Pros

    Benefits
    Upward Mobility
Competitive advantage over rest of industry
    Somewhat international
C Level Execs are some of the best - especially Matt Ferguson

    Cons

Comp for non-sales could be higher
Non-sales people could help build multi-million dollar revenue streams but aren't rewarded the same financially as the people who sell it
Culture is a pro and a con at times
    Personal grudges can be held

    Advice to Management

Leaders are important but middle-management and individual contributors are the ones who deliver and do whatever is asked. More needs to be shown to them, especially on the product side.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Money, good group of co-workers, ability to learn a lot about your clients business

    Cons

Negative comments from management like "what did you get sprayed with sales repellant?"
95% of management will literally do nothing

    Pros

CB provides top notch benefits, great yearly trips for all employee's and salaries are very competitive generous. Moving internally is relatively easy, upper management is very transparent and approachable.

    Cons

Its an extremely high pressure cut through atmosphere in the sales groups. I'd only recommend pursuing a career here if you are in any other group other than inside sales.

    Pros

    - Young Company
    - Growing Company

Lots of energy. Lots to learn.

    Cons

    - Young Company
    - Growing Company

Because of this, management was given to those who are great sales people rather then great leaders. These were people who were drinking the CB juice and had absolutely no experience anywhere else. They're only way to teach was to show how they were sucessful two years back in another economy. Management were not people you could expect to learn from.

    Advice to Management

Matt and Brent were the backbone of the company. They were smart. They were innovative. They liked their job. Everyone else just ran around yelling at you to do whatever was the new trick of the day.

    Pros

    * You can build your career with hard work
    * Do your job, do it right and you gain respect in the industry
    * The sky is the limit (if you want to aim low)

    Cons

The only downside is if you are not fit for this industry you are going to drown. It is fast paced and you get paid in accordance to how hard you work. I have seen many salespeople come in thinking that it is going to be an easy ride, that all they have to do is pick up the phone and the money just comes jumping out at you. Well, if you dont know how to create business relationships and know how to handle people hanging up on you, well, you may be a better fit in some paint department at a local hardware store.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

great product, great sales training. They want to teach you how to sell. This is a great first sales job and gives you the ability to move from inside to outside.

    Cons

Many times the expectations of Sr. Management are not aligned with the world outside of Careerbuilder. Quota are huge and the amount of products that can be sold are crazy. You can not keep things straight. Management also very much has a group think mentality, which can be good and bad.

    Advice to Management

Focus on one product at a time and spend more time perfecting it before you have the sales force sell it.
