I worked at Carfinco full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I loved the employees there and loved the manager at collections. He was a great boss and was fair. The reviews were good, and the changing bonus structure was profitable.

    Cons

Having to work a late night each week in the collection department. Management was fair, and never really had an issue. As long as you are honest and not trying to take advantage.

    Advice to Management

To hire quality employees as opposed to quantity. Customer service is important to customers even when they are in arrears.

I have been working at Carfinco full-time

    Pros

The people you meet are amazing, the cake day is alright.... The actual job is fun and challenging

    Cons

Wow where do we begin.... We the female supervisor in this department is an oversized toddler. She behaves as if she is still in middle school. If there is drama she has started it... Not only that but she is simply rude. The below above her are not any better.. They go for smoke breaks on the hour every hour.... But my god if we speak to each other we are getting a write up. They are a bunch of head cases who have no idea what they are doing.

    Advice to Management

The reason you lose so many amazing people is because of the lack of leadership and understanding. Get rid of the crazy chick and it would work much better for you.

    Pros

There are no good reasons to work here , the staff are completely disrespectful , they don't care about the customers, they lack customer service skills , they don't take the job seriously , they tend to make fun of customers situation , I wouldn't recommend working there , it's a SESPOOL

    Cons

Customer service in all departments, someone needs to investigate further about that company , SESPOOL

    Advice to Management

Goto school and learn more customer service , you won't go far with that attitude

I worked at Carfinco full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Met some fantastic people and the work was interesting and challenging.

    Cons

Senior Management loves to find fall guys/girls for their own incompetence. The CEO, COO and CFO are anal, self important toads. Employees are expected to know how the company operates from day one. Mistakes are held against you even after you have corrected them. Social interaction is frowned upon yet Management wants a corporate cheerleader to engage employees - very contradictory. The only ones allowed to fritter away the day are the VP's. Most are smokers who take a lot of breaks yet if someone takes a day off because they or their child is ill they are reprimanded for it.

    Advice to Management

Stand up for your employees, stop bowing down to Board and CEO, COO, CFO and VP anal egotism and favourtism.

I have been working at Carfinco full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Met some of the coolest people I know.
    Decent benefits.

    Cons

Terrible turn over. Complaints to management are not listened to. Unreasonable quotas, Treated unfairly, if not part of the supervisor clique. Overall the environment is absolutely toxic.

    Advice to Management

To the VP's, grow up. You are in your 40's with no concept that high school ended for you centuries ago. Stop power tripping over good employees who are will to put in the extra effort because you think you have something to prove.

    Gym on site

    Cons

    Drama 24/7
    Mostly a women environment
    Favouritism
    Constant wonder and confusion
    Overall a toxic work environment
Unprofessional management (this varies by department)

    Advice to Management

Listen to people, stop choosing non productive and even terrible employees over those who are intelligent and could keep the company doing well.

    Pros

Some and when I some very few people you could talk to as co worker,my supervisor was pretty relax ,she would try to stick up for you,

    Cons

The vp's are unprofessional it's like big high school, if you not apart of management click your not gonna be treated fairly, or you have to keep to yourself, no room for growth at all, too much personal issues get involved in work, too much gossip, very poisonous work environment, everyone is always trying to go someone else fired or in trouble,no understanding with any personal issue example, children, death in the family, illness, your supervisor will talk behind your back anything you tell them is not confidential, you will here someone talking about what you just discussed to a supervisor in a private on room on the work floor. Over all its a gong show no respect all is given to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Weed out the high school click mentality, hire people who will respect the company, show people they've done good job, cut the politics ,
