    Pros

Flexible hours depending on which store you work at. solid part time position but dependent on payroll so not necessarily a good primary position

    Cons

Hard time staffing, hire manager turnover rate in my district made it hard for consistency or trust.

I worked at Caribou Coffee part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun place to work - regular customers are great, flexible scheduling, discounts and free coffee are nice perks. Health insurance benefits available to part-time employees, which is excellent/

    Cons

Lack of communication from Management to staff that is actually doing the work. Less reliable and less capable team members promoted over other more viable candidates. Lack of growth opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Give people a chance to excel and grow so you don't have such a high turn over. Look inside your organization first before brining in supervisor and managment trainees.

I worked at Caribou Coffee part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

1/2lb of coffee every week, free shift drinks, 30% discount, nice work environment, very easy job, and some room for advancement (if you're over 18).

    Cons

I was there for almost 2 years and never got a raise, I couldn't take a shift lead job because I was 17 (My manager wanted me to be able to and offered it but company policy wont allow it), everything is very by the book and doesn't allow room for creativity, and very high turnover.

    Pros

Good benefits. The culture is fun and team oriented. The guests are great and the relationships that you build are great.

    Cons

The bean promotions are overwhelming. It's very difficult to move beyond Training Store Manager. The pay is not fair. If you don't have the right District Manager, you will go unnoticed.

    Advice to Management

Reassess what your current Store Managers are making. Get more feedback from your field employees before making changes to in store operations, choose those employees at random so you get different opinions.
