I worked at Caribou Coffee part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Close team member relationships and a flexible work schedule make this a really good job to start with!! Also tips make it easy to keep making money

    Cons

Transferring stores can be difficult if you're also transferring districts. It's been a struggle and is the reason I might leave the company

I have been working at Caribou Coffee full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling, early hours or evening hours, easy work. I went from full-time to every friday plus every other weekend so I could finish college. My manager was great in accommodating my weird scheduling needs.
Easy to get into management positions if interested. They seem to like to hire from within when they can.

    Cons

Hard to get full-time unless you're an assistant or general manager. Must pick up hours at other locations if you want more. Shift Supervisor pay only applies when you are the actual "Manager on Duty". So if scheduled as a regular team member, you earn a $1 less, despite being a shift supervisor.
Shifts are only about 6 hours long.

    Advice to Management

Be more available. Step up to confrontations.

I love the management their. They are already doing an amazing job

I worked at Caribou Coffee part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free drink each shift, half pound of coffee each week or tea, fun co workers, great if you're a student since you can come back and work holidays

    Cons

Low pay, was only given a raise when the minimum wage hike happened.
Drama between supervisors & managers at times when things aren't running smoothly.
Job can get old after a while if been employed for a long time.

    Advice to Management

Keep it up, just make sure you are listening to your supervisors since manager responsibility is shared often.

I have been working at Caribou Coffee part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

As long as you are not working the kiosks you get a free shift drink, decent tips, and a nice discount.

    Cons

A lot of mix-ups in communication from upper management/corporate. It feels like no one is on the same page, which can be frustrating at times. Shift Lead isn't bad but the raise is minimal and you get stuck with vastly more responsibility than you get paid for.

    Advice to Management

My advice would be get better starting wages & better raises, allow unlimited coffee & a shift drink (this inspires baristas to learn more about the flavor of the coffee), and a minimum staffing of 3 baristas all day.
