What are your colleagues talking about?
- Former Employee, less than 1 year★★★★★
Appreciate learning life lessons
Mar 7, 2017 - Production in Chicago, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
People seemed genuine. Relaxed atmosphere. Plenty of flexibility. Family oriented, respectful of personal time. Will give anyone a chance, even if not qualified.
Cons
Things aren't always what they seem. Very loose on structure and accountability. Very political. Would rather see hardworking employees leave, than address issues within company. Pay is below competitive market for manufacturing.

Just awful. I wish the Germans took it over.
Oct 12, 2022 - Anonymous Employee in Waukesha, WIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
45k starting pay back when it meant something. Newer office, German company. No other perks.
Cons
Very condescending manager talking trash about me in his office with the door open. He was angry at the fact that I didn't know they're industry and was talking about me in third person to my face. Super conniving and very snotty. There's something really wrong with this guy I couldn't tell you what it is.. Highly unprofessional staff with the exception of one person. When I was hired there they told me after the fact that I was supposed to take over their accounting department too which I wasn't even told about. The person that was supposed to be training me on their sap system didn't have time to help me properly and she even admitted that. I walked out after five days because of how awful the head manager was. I didn't feel welcome and I didn't feel like I even had the opportunity to learn let alone do the job. Quite frankly it was the most unpleasant experience of my life!

Great company, poor management.
May 11, 2017 - Warehouse Worker in Burr Ridge, ILRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great job. Light duty warehouse work. Great incentive plan. Relaxed work environment. Flexible with personal time, paid and unpaid. Occasionally company pays for lunch.
Cons
Not team based at all. Team leads are rude and will call you derogatory names. When brought up to management, they will ignore the problem due to family ties in company. Management asks for feedback and will punish you when given. Team leads will lie on safety measures with no repercussions. More productive employees will have extra responsibilities dumped on them due to others' incompetence. Laziness is rewarded while productiveness receives no recognition. Very unstructured work environment.
