I worked at Carl's Jr part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They were willing to work with my schedule while I was in college. Made friends fast with other co-workers, so it wasn't an entirely competitive place to work in.

    Cons

Even if you gave the best customer service, there were always a few customers that made working here hard. Going far and beyond with your work did not guarantee a pay raise. As I was part-time, no benefits.

    Advice to Management

I feel you should give more credit to your employees or at least give small bonuses here and there for the hard work they do.

    Pros

Flexilbe hours, specially since I was a student at the time.

    Cons

The one I worked at was an independently owed restaurant and the manager was the worst at making his employees feel appreciated. worked there for almost 3 years and got a 25 cent raise, when I knew how to do everything from cooking at all shifts, drive thru, register, register count ins and outs, etc. I was more than a shift mananger, pretty much assistant but never got promoted. The owner didn't want to give any raises.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate your employees, specially those that show drive to go up the chain.

    Pros

I cannot think of a single pro

    Cons

Immature management, low wages, no 401K match, no training, very little guidance. Be prepared to cya every day there. Easily the worst place I've worked in my entire working career. I was offered FT employment, just to be fired within the next 30 days, after I turned down other opportunities. I would not recommend that ANYBODY considers working here.

    Advice to Management

I can't speak for all departments but I can say that my HR Management team was the least supportive group I have ever worked with. No training , no support or guidance.
