I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time

    Pros

    Discount.... Imi not at all

    Cons

Bad training, ungrateful shift leaders, bullying, co-workers muttering behind some ones back, sexual harassment, expecting impossible task to get done 100%, they want you to guess everything, each employee has its different procedures and rules( while manager was out). You were called Pendej0!! if you prepare something wrong.

    Advice to Management

Be sure that shift leaders follow up main procedures as they are in detail. The reasons why new employees not last longer is because some shift leaders ( not all) bullying and intimidate new ones behind managers back and expect impossibles. And each leader has its own rules, they scold employees in front of customers and other employees. In my case, I was treated differently with others. Later I realized when a new girls got into that one of the leaders stared at her, despite she was new she got 30 hours more than any other cashier. I hope the manager fix this, this stores has many issues to work on.

I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good hours, even if you are a average employee. Some members help out as a team.

    Cons

    Mean shift leaders, not everyone.
If you are a young guy, you will get different standards comparing to a 🚺 woman.
Super humans is what they want.
    No promotion
    Bad training

Each shift leader gives different instruction like they were managers.

This week i requested to move to location, and they rejected it calling the restaurants close my home that not hire me.

    Advice to Management

There are many changes to work on. Firstly male shift leaders harrasing new team members. Second is the training, the ciber calrs program isnt enough to teach new ones. Third make sure there is friendships between shif leaders and cookers, they share those drive-thru head sets while the manager is out. And last one, do not be cheap with the service.

I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The general manager is very understanding and is willing to work with us. She even tries to get us as many hours as she can.

    Cons

The hours are extremely low for the amount of pay. It more often than not comes down to do I buy food or do I pay bills.

    Advice to Management

Either up the pay or up the hours so we can survive!!!!

    Pros

Not much, I guess having a job

    Cons

30k a year to be a store manager, upper management never helps, just yells, benefits are bad, work way to hard and have way to much responsibility for the pay, gives no labor so you have 4 employees for 300 customers and expect everything to be perfect which is insane

    Advice to Management

proper training and give more labor credits

I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - 50% discount
    - Decent number of hours for part-time (25-30 hrs)
    - Decent training (paid crew meetings 1x/month, shift leaders go through paid 8-week training before officially taking the role)

    - Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are time in a half

    Cons

    - Beaucratic atmosphere- opportunities are usually reserved for the 'favorites' of the GM (who usually get him the best times)

    - Drive-through times are everything. They come before dine-in guests, customer service skills, leadership skills, and pretty much everything else. You master this, and you're set- but at a high cost.

    - Job is very stressful, especially during lunch/dinner rushes. Not for those who have quick tempers or thin skin. Must be able to hold your tongue when dealing with unforgivably rude customers.

    - You burn out quick. You can go from Spongebob to Squidward in 6 months.

    - Unless you promote to shift leader, don't expect to make more than minimum wage

    - If you're not fluent in Spanish, be prepared to feel incompetent at your job at least 50 percent of the time, as you have to have a Spanish speaker take over your register.

    - It is against company policy to pay outout-of-pocket in the event that your register is short. So unless you have a GM willing to fudge the reports and let you pay on the sly, you're fired after three times.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest making dine-in times just as important as drive-thru times. In fact, lessen the importance of times altogether and place more emphasis on great customer service and leadership skills. I would also suggest offering more incentives to stay with the company, such as benefits, free meals within a ceetain price range, more opportunities for getting a raise, and etc. Also, allowing employees to take responsibility for being short by paying out-of-pocket hurts no one, and lessens turn-turn-over.
