    Pros

    Cons

manager sucked! took more than a month for me to get a paycheck! supervisors only helped you if they liked you. you basically sank or swam. luckily i had a life jacket. food is way over priced.

    Advice to Management

pay your employees! stop cutting our hours! Act like an adult!

I have been working at Carl's Jr full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - You have to multi-task! At the drive thru because there is only 1 window. So, while you're taking Person B's order at the drive-thru, you're preparing their drinks and inputting it in the screen. Simultaneously you are also charging Person A at the window and handing them their drinks and order.
    - Always walk around cleaning, checking up on customers, etc.
    - You get paid (IF the checks get mailed in time because they don't offer direct deposit)

    Cons

    - They expect you to be FULLY devoted to the customer. No lie. I got in trouble for not welcoming a customer as soon as they were at the door while I was taking someone's order. Like, really?
    - Upper management is not kind and are stuck up.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat this like a prestigious restaurant, it's ONLY fast food!

I worked at Carl's Jr part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You get 50% off when you work otherwise it's only 20%
The cashiers are kinda friendly but the cooks and management are rude

    Cons

You never get a raise- I worked there for 4 years and never got one
Management and corporate treat you like crap
You never get a break- even though you're required by law to get a 30 minute break
Very short staffed because corporate wants to save labor- so you get worked to death
Huge turn over rate because everyone who works there hates it and quits

    Advice to Management

Stop treating your employees like crap

    Pros

I only got one 15 cent raise after working 3 years and a 30 cent to become manager... Not really a pro.

    Cons

I worked for Carls Jr for 3 years and there were a lot of illegal Mexicans stealing peoples socials. Managers redoing the pluming so the grease goes down the drains instead of the grease traps so they wouldn't have to pay to get them cleaned out. Horrible Company.

I worked at Carl's Jr part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

You have some cool employees and 50% off food and those are the only pros I can think of.

    Cons

Management expected way too much for little pay. Also some of the shift leads were horrible and made you do everything for them while they just gossiped in the kitchen or have 10 smoke breaks out in the back. Some shift leaders (at my store) refused to work drive thru and dine in while I was the only cashier avaliable! It was extremy stressful especially when you're expected to keep everything clean and stocked. I'm so glad I left this place and found another employeer. I wouldn't recommend even if you're desperate!

    Advice to Management

schedule more people so handing out orders and keeping the store cleaned is done more quickly since there are shift leaders who think they're above the crew members and don't want to do their job.

    Pros

Getting paid for the hard work I did.

    Cons

-New employees are treated unfairly (asked to do the least wanted chores: sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash.)
-Kitchen is unsanitary and the workers there don't seem to ever put on new gloves or wash their hands.
-No one seems to speak English. So coworkers talk behind your back.
-Always receiving criticism and never praised.
-Had an inappropriate Supervisor harrass me.
-Low pay. No one ever seems to clean.
    -Rude Supervisors

    Advice to Management

Organize your crew and set roles on who should be doing what. Be firm and enforce polices. Work on sanitazion and training employees to wash their hands.

    Pros

Not much, I guess having a job

    Cons

30k a year to be a store manager, upper management never helps, just yells, benefits are bad, work way to hard and have way to much responsibility for the pay, gives no labor so you have 4 employees for 300 customers and expect everything to be perfect which is insane

    Advice to Management

proper training and give more labor credits

    Pros

You can meet a few good people.

    Cons

Bosses were horrible, employees were lazy, place was hotter than hell and disgusting, closing early.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so cruel to your employees cherish them for the fact that they do the stuff you wont or dont want to do.
