I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Co workers are nice and friendly. Customers are always sharing their fascinating stories and give you lots of life tips.

    Cons

Ask for more hours and get less in return. Receive a small amount of hours. The GM abuses their power.

    Advice to Management

Give more balanced hours to everyone

    I worked at Carl's Jr part-time

    Pros

Met a lot of new people, who I am still currently friends with. Gained new skills such as customer service.

    Cons

Worked the graveyard shift while still in High School. Would spend my whole weekend Friday-Sunday working. Management was all over the place. Would ask to work 12+ hour shifts.

    Advice to Management

Understand to the people that are still in High school that they can't work all the time. And give the workers a weekend off from time to time. We all have families, and we all have things to get done outside of work sometimes.

The management positions can be very hands on and give a detailed experience of handling a busy fast food restaurant.

    Cons

Corporate owned locations can suffer from shortfalls in regional management.

    I worked at Carl's Jr part-time

    Pros

Best coworkers I have ever worked with. We needed each other to survive each shift.

    Cons

Understaffed, basically doing the job of 2-3 people. Sometimes I would be alone in drive-thru during a rush and the stress would be unhealthy. There are many things you need to do while keeping a timer of under 4 minutes, which is high expectations.

    Advice to Management

Supply enough people to work, especially during busy days. Or else, stop enforcing timers that we could never fulfill.
