I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time

    Pros

Good place to learn what a fast-paced workplace is like.
Learning to work with customers was a plus.

    Cons

    Management wasn't that great.
    Many employees were unprofessional.
People were not always there to work.
    Training wasn't great.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to screen the shift leaders so that you know for sure what they are doing when managers aren't there. Also, come up with a better training process that teaches new hires how to do their job.

I worked at Carl's Jr (More than a year)

    Pros

Worked at a campus Carl's Jr., so we didn't have the full menu. The managers and shift leaders really set the example and did their best to follow all the guidelines. There was no compromise in quality and service.

    Cons

Audits seemed really impossible, especially since we were a campus Carl's Jr. We didn't receive all the new equipment that most Carl's Jrs. had.

    Advice to Management

Set high standards, and do not compromise. Try to relate to your employees, but at the same time, do not allow them to step all over you.

I worked at Carl's Jr full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone was working together mostly. Anytime that there was a shortage, there was always someone to call on. Hours are pretty consistent.

    Cons

Occasionally there would be some customers that would try to spite the workers to get free food.

    Advice to Management

Id just fire any workers that are milking hours too much. Get rid of people that you arnt going to give a raise from minimum.
