I have been working at Carl's Jr full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The employees are amazing, the managers, district managers are amazing. Just the environment. The community, the customers interact with the employees as well. Which makes it like family.

    Cons

There isn't really anything to say in this part. Only besides if you try to get a transfer, it can be difficult to get one.

    Pros

Perfect for high school students with no experience, and you can get promoted easily if you pay attention and work fast

    Cons

Most managers are more concerned about the drive thru time and making sure that your drawer is perfect when you clock out than they do about you. If you want more hours you practically have to beg. If you need to have a shift covered for a legitimate reason then the next week you don't get your shift back unless they have no choice.

    Advice to Management

care about the employees even if they're only getting minimum wage.

I have been working at Carl's Jr part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There were some pros of working here, such as the discount for the food. Customers were pleasant to interact with as I worked the morning to early evening shift. Good interaction with the customers, I only had about 4 people in a bad mood before.

    Cons

My manager didn't train me well enough, During a phone call after I'd been hired I asked for my start date and they told me that it was the Wednesday a week after the upcoming wednesday, it was monday. I come into work on the following wednesday, and I'm informed that I was supposed to start the week before, even though I discussed with them on the phone that it was the current wednesday. No call from work, nothing. The first time I called in for my schedule, they asked me if I "even wanted to work here anymore". I lived a 30 minute commute from this location. They called me when I was 5 minutes away from my exit I needed, told me not to come in, it was 20 minutes before I needed to clock in, they knew how far I lived. I called in the next morning and they told me not to come in again. They then asked me if I wanted to work the evening shift, even though I told them that I needed morning or early evenings only.
On top of that I barely received any training or information of what was on the menu.

    Advice to Management

Train your staff better, with more on-hand training rather than simply pointing and saying what to do without showing how to do it.

I worked at Carl's Jr part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy interview because there was no interview. And there was some Good people but they all jumped ship. Free drinks was Good too I guess....

    Cons

Only worked 3 hours a week
Fired because I wanted time off to see my brother graduate army basic training. (Took a few sick days before hand because I was down with a bad cold and didn't want to infect the food as I was a cook)
Would get called 30 mins before a shift to get told "don't come in today its super slow"
    Little to no training.
Not really the company's falt but most of the workers spoke broken English at best.

    Advice to Management

Retrain everyone. Everyone from the basic cooks to management. And make sure each store isn't over staffed so people can work more than 3 hours a week.
