I worked at Carlisle SynTec full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I always felt that Carlisle cared about it's employees. We had decent health insurance, paid time off, holidays, and if you are ambitious there are plenty of people willing to train you and help you advance.

    Cons

The plant I worked at had a rotating shift schedule. Every 2 weeks you would be on a different schedule and it wore you down after a while.

I worked at Carlisle SynTec for less than a year

    Pros

The company culture at Carlisle SynTec is outstanding. I was welcomed kindly by everyone on my first day and although I was only there for a summer internship, I left feeling like I was truly part of the team. SynTec is highly professional and respectful in all the work that they do and working here was extremely rewarding. I gained valuable skills in the creative and marketing field and was encouraged to push myself. I would recommend an internship or job here to anyone with a hard, positive work ethic that wants a job they look forward to every day.

    Cons

During my summer internship, I had zero complaints. Truly a wonderful company that cares about their employees and their contractors/customers.

    I worked at Carlisle SynTec

    Pros

Decent pay, decent benefits, close to home

    Cons

Management didn't care about safety until after someone had been hurt, such as a forklift with forks too long for the job it was used for. Employees warned management for YEARS that the forks were too long and someone would be hurt. a 1000lb box of material fell as a result of the forks and crushed machinery, could easily have been someone's life

I worked at Carlisle SynTec full-time for more than a year

    Pros

New plant, new equipment, and great people to work with. International company amount of resources with a small town company feel.

    Cons

Company culture dates to the 90's. Time off somewhat flexible, but there is not much of it. Benefits are at or just below industry average.

I worked at Carlisle SynTec for less than a year

    Pros

The company has a great culture as a whole, which was expanded upon in intern luncheons with some of the executives of the company. My projects were plentiful and intriguing, and my colleagues were willing to help when it was needed. Pay was also reasonable for a collegiate intern.

    Cons

Some of my superiors traveled substantially which made communication and focus more difficult, but nothing to turn away possible employees - overall a quality experience.
