    Pros

You will learn and get your higher speed to make a lot of duties.

    Cons

They are yelling all the time. Disrespectful treatment to others different from India or Filipinas. 10 or more hours standing. Short time to rest. Cooking for 5000 people is not possible in a nicely way. Bad procedures to improve the speed.

    Pros

Travel, experiences, party, new friends, guest privileges.

    Cons

Photographers have very long working hours everyday, a lot of sales pushing, ridiculous targets to achieve bonus, very routinary job.. guests end up hating you. Working in Carnival is really cool, just not as a photographer.

    Advice to Management

Please remove the stupid system of printing pictures, we live in a digital world now and is not environmentally good to waste tons of paper every cruise.

I have been working at Carnival full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good diversity, both professionally and socially. Entrepreneurial for a large company.

    Cons

Senior management team are mostly former consultants and rely on consultants to run the business. Employees are not empowered to make decisions or drive change as consultants are used for nearly all change management initiatives. Comp is lower than competitors, HR doesn't understand the industry and manages comp.

    Advice to Management

Invest in and empower employees. Company needs true leaders who trust their team. Stop relying on so many consultants; the existing team knows where the opportunities are and how to fix them. Be more competitive with comp.

I have been working at Carnival full-time

    Pros

Meet great people, friendships that would last a lifetime. They have great benefits as well.

    Cons

Contact Center is the worse. Management have extreme favoritism and it is hard to leave the department once you are there since contact center agent have a bad reputation. Management is not controlled or watched and they get to do and treat their employee like crap.

    Advice to Management

Go back to school and learn what it means to be in management.
