    Pros

I worked at Carousel Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits and salary were decent.

    Cons

Extremely numbers oriented. Sales are obviously important and keep a company running but they need to have a better focus on the entire customer experience. Especially if they want to retain clients. If you're in a sales support type of role, vacation time is frowned upon / not allowed surrounding month/year-end.

I have been working at Carousel Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Ability to Work Remotely from anywhere with internet access

    Cons

Lack of support / training . Latest acquisition of companies; many managers from those company joined Carousel as Senior level managers; creating another layer of managers. Laid off many Carousel employees prior to this movement. Very little loyalty to long time employees. Pressure for increased billable utilization while increasing admin and process responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees as valued employees with similar industry compensation.

I worked at Carousel Industries full-time

    Pros

Not many as they have lost focus with Avaya business margins down over 40 %

    Cons

Frat mentality of upper management & ceo's. Nepotism reigns supreme and friends of management get away with murder.

    Advice to Management

Too many clowns and not enough circus

I have been working at Carousel Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Well, we finally got 3 sick days!

    Cons

I have been here almost 8 years and with each passing year it gets worse. Management does not care about anyone else except themselves. Unless you have male genitalia or sleep with the executive team you won't get any where. Poor employees who "know the owners" are allowed to ride roughshod over the organization and wreak havoc everywhere.

    Advice to Management

get rid of worthless management and everyone they covet. Get rid of the employees who contribute nothing. Treat great employees like they matter! Get up off your wallet and give us more than a 2% raise every year....Christ on a cracker--how do you guys sleep at night? Laughing at us all the way to the bank, I'll bet!

I worked at Carousel Industries full-time

    Pros

    Did not micromanage team members.

    Cons

Do not TRULY value anybody besides the sales rep who could not sell the system on their own without the support of engineering, project management, and implementation teams.

    Advice to Management

Get your head out of the sand and Discover what the people in your company really go through on a daily basis instead of bean counting how many opportunities that they work on to determine their worthiness.

I have been working at Carousel Industries full-time

    Pros

Flexible hours, able to work at home or in the office seamlessly, large portfolio of products supported

    Cons

Shifts directions and focus on offerings too often; unable to retain good employees; preaches work/life balance but then expects someone to work all day then support cutovers or perform upgrades on systems into the late night.

    Advice to Management

Figure out what you want to be and become great at it; offer salaries more in line with the job being performed.

I worked at Carousel Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Carousel works with every hardware manufacturer which gives the customer more options

    Cons

Carousel relies on other local VARs to implement sold services. They are constantly laying off new employees that are on ramp as well as established top selling representatives, Directors and Engineers
