I worked at Carpetright full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good colleagues, excellent work/life balance and friendly customers. Also had the opportunity to work closely with customers for carpet fitting etc. Hope this helps.

    Cons

I don't have any specific cons to share. Maybe, better commissions will help motivate staff even more motivated. Very occasionally, some customers can be a bit hard to deal with.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work

    Pros

Commission is good, colleagues are mostly nice and helpful and some stores have good team work. As always it depends on the people you work with. Opportunities to work in other stores for overtime and covering hols etc.

    Cons

Be prepared to work long hours and most public holidays, late evenings etc. Customer Service is poor, limited backup to those in store. Pretty much left to your own devices to sort out problems

    Advice to Management

communicate more, try doing the job for a bit yourselves to see the best way to motivate your teams.
