    Fun and fast paced environment , you should be a people person

    Cons

    Hosts can be used as scapegoats for a lot of problems that aren't their fault and it can ware you down in a busy location

    Advice to Management

    Make sure there are bussers in every location so hosts don't get stuck with that responsibility because it slows the flow of the restaurant

    I have been working at Carrabba's Italian Grill part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The people are the reason to work there. It really feels like a family, I haven't worked there for 6 months and still hang out with people that work there. Also, the food is amazing, it is easy to sell because you really do enjoy it. They really work with your schedule.

    Cons

    Business is slow. Some nights would be great and you would leave with a decent amount of tips, but more often than not it was slow.

    Don't let personal issues influence your professional demeanor.

    Flexible schedule, made money working weekends only

    Cons

    Definitely one of the most labor intensive serving jobs out there, and cant say i'm sad about leaving the industry.

    You learn a lot very quickly and get a background in customer service. It's great for future job placement when it involves a lot of one on one with clients. I learned a lot about customer appreciation and having a strong customer focus.

    I don't anything negative to say about the company or management.

    Always treat employees equally.
