    Pros

    Great health/vacation benefits. Direct managers care about you and your growth and development within the company. Most departments are able to create a good work/life balance.

    Cons

    Summer/peak season can be a little intense for someone not use to the HVAC industry.

    Pros

    The environment is a group of fun and friendly people looking to work as a team and accomplish specified monthly goals.

    Cons

    At this company I witnessed incentives being taken away, morale depleted due to management, promises broken and an overall change in quality of merchandise.

    Advice to Management

    Hire qualified personnel that will fulfill their title, not someone who takes a position to sit in an office and make their own hours. All this does is deplete morale within the team!

    Pros

    I really can not think of a positive thing about this company besides a great work/life balance.

    Cons

    The President of MidSouth has run all the employees off with his negative, no none sense attitude. Corporate don't give a dam. There is no incentive for non-sales employees. Morale is in the dumps all because of one person, MidSouth President. Even the customers don't like him.

    Advice to Management

    Open your eyes before you will be closing the doors!

    Casual working environment and nice people

    I am upset because after a long interview with 3 people, I waited for a follow up, and at least a rejection email. But no one bothered to let me know that they decided to go with someone else. I've wasted a lot of time waiting for an update, hoping to get the job (and being in need of a job as well). This is a large company and it's such a shame that you won't improve your HR department.

    Advice to Management

    People are spending money and wasting time to come for an interview, and maybe turning down other job opportunities. The least you can do is send a rejection email.

    Pros

    Paycheck does not bounce, plus you do get 5 holidays paid.

    Cons

    1. Management does not care for employees, zero empathy.
    2. Management does not care about customers until their late paying their statement, then they care about them.
    3. Zero departments working together, everyone out for them.
    4. Warehouse employees are treated like cattle.
    5. Sales counter are required not to have overtime but have to work 50 hours a week, usually some uncompensated and if you work Saturdays plan on leaving Wed. early or coming in late for the offset.
    6. Ethics are touted as we are but not followed, one of the most unethical companies in the USA.
    Finally, you have to be nuts for 26 employees to resign in 8 months from one region and still have same management in place, shows you how much senior leadership really does not care.

    I have been working at Carrier Enterprise full-time

    Pros

    I have been working with Carrier Enterprise for over 6 years and have been very happy with the Company. I want to say that the culture of the Greensboro location has been absolutely great. The manager there believes that each and every employee is a family member and treats them as such. The location is fun place to work at, and offers everyone an opportunity to grow within the company. The income is average for the industry, and the company has been fair to everyone that works there. I am very familiar with two offices in the NC area and would highly recommend working for the Greensboro and Raleigh offices.

    Needs to add a few more employees to help with the work load

    Keep doing what you are doing, you have made a difference for the staff and we appreciate it.

    Pros

    Salary is competative. Front line workers are great. Company has high potential because their employees are fantastic. Great products and extensive line card are available to customer.
    Good website and customer training.

    Cons

    Awful benefits. Wait 90 days before benifits start.
    IT department hangs NO signs on their doors and management does nothing.
    12 regional offices and none talk to each other. Reinvent the wheel was invented here.
    Mid level management is driven to increase bottom line at the expense of employee satisfaction.
    Huge turn over of hourly staff.

    Advice to Management

    Work to integrate all offices.
    Give a benifits program that is competative.
    Stop the free ice cream days and treat us right by helping us succeed.
