I worked at Carroll University part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

On campus - Easy to get to. The people are nice, and sometimes you get to work with classmates. There are times when you are able to do homework, if the work itself is slow. Sign up early for classes.

    Cons

Very boring work, not in my field of study at all, just a placeholder for a job. The work is incredibly repetitive and sometimes I did not see why certain things had to be done at all.

    Advice to Management

Make the work a bit more interesting or at least pay us more than $7. I was barely able to afford food.

I worked at Carroll University part-time

    Pros

Very flexible with hours and understanding of the homework load. Managers are very patient, especially when it comes to new workers. They always have your back

    Cons

Other student workers sometimes made it harder to do the job because they would just sit there and do nothing. Other times, it was hard because they wouldn't pay attention to the processes during training and it constantly had to ask how to do something.

    Advice to Management

Maybe have one or two days, depending who is working, to have one experienced worker train with the newbies all day.
