We need some of the benefits that corporation gets. Daycare help, higher pays company get together's of some type
Store managers made to give reviews on time/or company pay retro as it is not the employees fault it was late, pay should be retro

    Pros

A very positive small town feel to the job. Everyone is always welcoming and so helpful! I absolutely love it here.

    Cons

Salaried store managers are required to work at least 45 hours a week. Usually ends up being more like 50-55.

I have been working at Casey's General Stores part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Clean work environment, easy job

    Cons

    Unequal pay
Employees get away with too much
Corporate does not care about employees or listen on how to improve

    Advice to Management

Some new kid is making $15 dollars an hour and most only make 8.50. People who don't work hard get higher pay. Corporate needs to listen to the ones who are on the front lines and see what they need instead of coming up with terrible ideas when they have no idea what really needs improved.

    I worked at Casey's General Stores part-time

    Pros

My coworkers were truly fantastic and enjoyable people. Pay was decent.

    Cons

Definitely not a good job for those that aren't good with people, as that's most of what you do. Not a lot of job security. Once witnessed someone that had been there for several years get a complaint from a customer and corporate fired her.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of your employees.

    Pros

There is no reason to work here ever! This was one of the worst job experiences that I have encountered. They say the customer comes first.. What a joke. They are more concerned with the never ending management meetings. Also, you get scheduled for 8 to 9 hour shifts with no break. I asked to to take a 5 minute break 2 hours into my shift, was told no, "you just got here" What? A anyway I would say proceed with extereme caution.

    Cons

You basically get thrown into job role with minimal oversight. Everyone too busy taking smoke breaks and chatting or checking their phone.

    Advice to Management

I shouldn't have to give you advice. Just be a manager like you're supposed to be. Maybe answer your phone like you say you will, instead of leaving lame text messages. I was so relieved to leave this horrifying workplace. I feel sorry for those left behind.
