    Pros

    Company no longer exists. Due to a merger new CEO and other Executives.

    Cons

    There were no cons while I was with the company. Worked there for 10 years in the legal department. Great General counsel and the best department that I ever worked in. The whole department was replaced due to merger.

    Pros

    Fantastic company to work for. They treat you like family and always present a professional appearance.

    Cons

    The pay raise is based on inventory self life; because of this and since I took part in setting up a new store I only received a .01 raise.

    Pros

    I loved Cash America I feel like I got every opportunity for the most part to succeed. I worked in the west region and my district managers Greg and Jacob were excellent.

    Cons

    Low wages for pawnbrokers and way to many hours required for management which make work/life balance way tilted towards the company. To many sales and "tag events" take away from day to day tasks.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees they are the key to your success. Be more competitive in your wages for the field it is underpaid and the stress shows on your employees. I felt for the most part people loved there job but felt they're way overworked.

    Pros

    Excellent District Managers and great customers. You meet new people everyday, which is awesome.

    Cons

    They are open on Sundays, which started a few years ago. Also company mergers are not good. Cash America tends to let go of seasoned employees that actually made the company of what it is today.

    Advice to Management

    Pay more attention to you seasoned employees that actually make the business works. Let pawnbrokers be pawnbrokers.Thats what we do best at. This business was build on that, not reviews and constant badgering to meet or beat your previous year numbers.

    Great people, good work life balance, great hours for retail. Fun career, you never have the same day twice. Great team atmosphere

    Pros

    Interesting industry. Consistently learn more about diamonds. Your management and leadership skill really get tested here. Leadership in Chicago market is great.

    Cons

    The industry can be tough one. Customer service can be challenging. Most of your customers are not in a good mood when they come to see you. You must have thick skin.

    Advice to Management

    Previous Managment experience doesn't always apply to this industry. There is a lot to learn
