I have been working at CashMax (Texas) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

CashMax is a place where I would like to retire from. They offer amazing benefits and the management really cares.

    Cons

I have nothing negative to say

    Advice to Management

Thank you for all you do

I worked at CashMax (Texas) full-time

    Pros

I have nothing good to say.

    Cons

No training whatsoever. Ridiculous amounts of minute detail and waste of literally hundreds of pounds of paper a week. A scam that takes advantage of poor people.

Never saw a male employee; they seem to hire mostly women. Probably because they are more compliant. As a result, I was surrounded by gossip and back-stabbing behavior. Female store manager literally walked up to me and asked me if I was on my period. District manager wanted to fire me because I counted ten cents off my register. I was written up for this.

I have been a store manager of several retail chains and I've never experienced a more bizarre company. Any small mistake at the store requires a call to your regional manager to fix. I'm not sure what the point of a store manager is at CashMax. I can only assume that neither the SM nor DM have enough to do.

You also only get one day off a week.

    Advice to Management

Actually do something meaningful with your life instead of working at a loan scam.

I worked at CashMax (Texas) full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are available to employees

    Cons

6 days a week. Working a half day instead of a whole day off

    Advice to Management

Need more family/work balance. 6 days a week is not enough of a balance to have happy, healthy emoyees

    Pros

Awesome Pay, raises and the potential to bonus. Company get togethers, the people in your district become family because you communicate so much! All around a great place to work !

I worked at CashMax (Texas) (Less than a year)

    Pros

Birthday lunches and cake monthly for birthdays at the corporate office.

    Cons

Moved to Dallas from OKC, as I was promised a raise after 90 days. No raise and I was let go after 5 months, with no severance pay, due to "reduction in force".

    Advice to Management

You should show more respect to your employees, instead of setting them up for failure.
