Brands with an editorial approach In 2015 Casper attempted to “own the conversation around sleep” by hiring journalists and establishing editorial authority. I think they ended up shuttering the division but I’m curious of similar examples where brands attempted to assert themselves as the expert on x topic? A few off the top of my head: Airbnb starting a travel magazine Patagonia through their blog + short films tied to environmentalism RedBull though their expertise I guess is extreme sports

What’s the deal at Casper these days? I interviewed there and was pretty far into the process but ultimately chose another gig (short-term). Might give it another try once I’m free again, but wanted to get a temperature check first.

How much of Red Antler’s business is AOR (assuming they still do stuff for Casper, Allbirds, etc) vs stand-alone one-off project work?
