What people are saying about Casper
Strategy & Planning
Brands with an editorial approach In 2015 Casper attempted to “own the conversation around sleep” by hiring journalists and establishing editorial authority. I think they ended up shuttering the division but I’m curious of similar examples where brands attempted to assert themselves as the expert on x topic? A few off the top of my head: Airbnb starting a travel magazine Patagonia through their blog + short films tied to environmentalism RedBull though their expertise I guess is extreme sports

The company is still growing and with that they haven't really found the best modes of communication within the company or marketing. plans seem to be almost an afterthought.

Work from home is nice. Brand has value.
Everything other than working from home ability. Can't seem to pay bills. People moved up the ladder that are not qualified for leadership roles. Extremely high turnover. Quality employees end up leaving and not recognized when they should be and those raised up first are all part of particular "cliques". Inner workings are a disaster. Everyone works in a silo.
