    Pros

    Pay and Benefits are typical.

Very political and ran by "poor" home grown management.

Management is overloaded and does not allow to help employees. No teamwork

    Pros

Good benefits. Lots of days off.

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Recognize talent or you will lose it.

    Advice to Management

It was better when the company was privately owned and ran by Saint Louis, DC people are evil.

I have been working at Cassidy Turley full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good benefits, good pay but how they treat you not worth it

    Cons

Bad management, and if you report it to HR. They retaliate and give you a hard time.

    Advice to Management

Some one should supervise management, and not rely only on reports they get from them. They make up info and reports.

I worked at Cassidy Turley full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is decent for recent college graduates, office culture is pretty good, people are usually smiling and happy to be there, health and other benefits are pretty good. Standard office property management company.

    Cons

Bosses are not nice, do not help you but critisize you alot. My boss did not train me like he said he would, Had to learn on my own, HR is a joke. They tell you they will switch your team a few times while you work there to get associated with other teams and if you want to switch at anytime you can, but I tried to switch teams because of my jerky boss and HR never did anything about it. I stuck it out and then moved out of town.

    Advice to Management

Get better managers who actually want you to succeed. Some of the managers were great but my manager was a jerk who ganged up on me and treated me lousy.

    Pros

Work-life balance seemed to be great in the office. Once brokers are on their feet and doing well, especially the senior brokers are able to plan their own work schedule.

    Cons

Not much interaction unless when needed between Brokers in the office and the Marketing team.

    Advice to Management

    More formal internship program.

I have been working at Cassidy Turley full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay is fair, work is fair.

    Cons

It is amazing to me how upper management fails to recognize the best talent and seems to promote people based on their salary requirements rather than their abilities. Simply put, the wrong people are continually promoted to management positions and then fail to receive the proper training to make them effective managers.

    Advice to Management

Recognize that subject matter experts do not automatically make great decision makers.

    Pros

Nice Benefits, Respectable Hours, and an overall stable place to work. Depending on department, management may be either great or distant. The team I was on was dynamic and capable.

    Cons

Difficult to see the company beyond your specific department. There is a lack of development tools, and the guidance one receives is very minimal to grow and develop.

    Advice to Management

Regularly reach out to your associates, they may have novel ideas, development goals, and hidden skills that they would not know how to use without guidance and or training.
