I have been working at CastleBranch full-time

    Pros

I love working at CastleBranch for a few reasons, my coworkers are all so helpful, and friendly, and the management is incredibly flexible and supportive. They work tirelessly to ensure that each employee is able to maintain work-life balance, and set an example of that themselves.

    Cons

My only negative thought about the company is the lack of a formal review. While these reviews/evaluations make all of us very nervous, they also make us better at our jobs.

    Advice to Management

My only advice would be to give better feedback, more regularly. Other than that, I love this company.

I have been working at CastleBranch full-time

    Pros

Culture is the big thing here. Co-workers are, for the most part, amazing. You get out of it what you put into it. If you are friendly and actually get to know the folks that work here, you will be pleasantly surprised. There's a gym on site and employees can utilize it at no cost. Also, there's a game room with ping pong, skeeball, etc. Very hip if you are into that kind of thing. Food trucks also show up on a regular...

    Cons

Communication is still an issue here. I mentioned above that it is getting better. It has a long way to go. I am a huge advocate for transparency, especially in business. Free flow of information is key in our business. We struggle with that. The CEO, Brett Martin, is a bit of bag of hot air. Just earlier this year, he gave a speech at an event where he stressed that higher paying jobs are needed in the area. Yet,...

    Advice to Management

Changes in leadership have been welcome. Some hard decisions were made this year and you stuck by them. Most of it has paid off. Keep going. I have worked here for some time now and I see a light that wasn't always there. Keep sharing your vision with the staff. We all matter and we all want to contribute. You are wrong if you think we don't care; we do. We want to see you win. Tek Mountain has got to be de-mystified....

I have been working at CastleBranch full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

I have been working with CastleBranch close to 2 years and since I started I have seen huge improvements. Do I think it is perfect? Is it where it should be? No, however, there has been steady improvements. CastleBranch has gone through a few transitions but these transitions have been to make investments in the long run. CastleBranch has brought in some great talent to the company to help with the changes to make things...

I have been working at CastleBranch for more than 4 years

      Pros

The company is constantly looking at ways to enhance the employee's experience while at work. I have worked here for now over 4 years and have seen much improvement in this area throughout the past few years. It is clear that employee engagement is a huge focus of their's this year. The current President is very engaged with each employee and you can tell that he really cares about each employee. Work life balance...

The company has gone through department/title changes quite a bit this past year but all of those changes seem to be coming to an end soon. There are two buildings which can be a pain sometimes when it is raining and you have a meeting in the other building.

      Advice to Management

Keep focusing on employee engagement and listening to your employees. Pay attention to what other competitive employers offer in town so that we can offer the same as they do.

I have been working at CastleBranch full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

Great array of employee offerings: gym, surfing, pingpong, brewery, food truck and more. Work-life balance is a encouraged. Great people. Nice facility.

      Cons

Consistently low levels of employee engagement. Lots of change to structure, culture, systems, management. Very low compensation. Poor benefits package. Few professional development opportunities.

      Advice to Management

Focus. The company can be so much more to its clients but the regular focus on so many unrelated new solutions adds no value if clients are not having a positive experience with the products they currently use. Focus on fixing the existing, then add new.

I have been working at CastleBranch full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

CastleBranch is a great company to work for! As a recent college graduate, CastleBranch gave me a chance to get my foot in the door and use my degree without relate working experience. It is hard to start off as most jobs require a minimum amount of related experience. I really enjoy working with everyone at CastleBranch as well. The pay isn't as high as a lot of my friends who have jobs in the area but the culture, group and advancement opportunities make it well worth it. There are also annual performance reviews where pay can be negotiated. There is also great employee recognition and appreciation.
