    Pros

Ability to network and make your own path, You can cross-train in many fields.

    Cons

CEO is not experienced (definitely not as experienced as stated on wesite), Lack of communication to employees, Always looking for a way to cut corners, employees are not treated equally, very much the practice of the good ole boys network in play for every position in the place of management, lack of training provided.

    Advice to Management

Give the CEO something to do, VP of Finance (should be demoted he is really VP of Payroll), Pay attention to the trends of other SUCESSFUL employers and get better rewards

    Pros

    -flexibility in schedules
    -great benefits
    - positive atmosphere
    -helpful back office staff
-potential to move up as the company continues to grow
-good response time, considering the size of back office compared to current employee numbers

    Cons

Sometimes there is a lack of communication, which can be mistakenly misinterpreted as apathetic. However, the corporate side does show initiative and care in making sure all systems are running and that staff get what they need.

    Advice to Management

More communication is needed across the company.

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

A good environment to meet people young in their career for networking purposes, VERY smart and supportive COO, You can make your own career path if you are well liked.

    Cons

The leadership is lacking, lack of organizational structure, good old boys network heavily favored, leadership lacks ability and skill to lead others, opportunities only come to favored employees, revolving door of HR, VPs are treated like gods by the CEO (they get trips, and retreats, while regualr employees get pot lucks and apps paid for at Happy Hours, unless the COO pays out of pocket)

    Advice to Management

Dont just reward the employees you like but to instead look at all of the employees to cultivate positive and mentorship like relationships. There is stronger leadership needed with less back stabbing. Stop watching the bottomline on everything instead reward the employees and show appreciation outside of corny "Social Hours" and pot lucks. Offer more than false promises and provide more support to all employees in career growth and a better work environment.

    Pros

People are always willing to help you out when you ask for it. Management is also understanding when you need time off.

    Cons

There is no promotion system, it seems to be based heavily on favoritism. And there is praise and recognition, but no monetary reward system for hard work (only verbal praise).

    Advice to Management

The CEO should be more engaged with his staff, and senior management need to better contribute to company direction and mission.

    Pros

Hands-off management style. Proximity to DC, and more specifically the numerous federal agencies located in the area, should allow for continued business. Very relaxed and even-keeled environment. The company goes out of their way to notify you of internal opportunities for advancement.

    Cons

As is the case with federal contracting across the board, your experience is largely dependent upon the contract to which you are assigned. Work environment, hours, etc.. almost entirely depends on the project you're on, and the client you are dealing with.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest that more efforts be made to bring the organization as a whole closer together. Company events & gatherings would allow for employees to better connect within the firm.

    Pros

Pay is great/above average but can definitely be better.

    Cons

Management is HORRIBLE. Whenever you bring up an issue to management, they like to throw the blame onto you or spin things around so it is in their favor. There is no point in bringing up issues with management because all they do is make you run in circles without actually solving the issues. If Catapult is so concerned with contracts, why are they condoning the terrible unprofessionalism that is happening in the workplaces which can potentially jeopardize the contracts? The management people at Catapult are idiots who don't know how to handle issues even if it hit them in the head. No wonder there are so many disgruntled employees.

    Advice to Management

Don't bother trying to win contracts if you are going to treat your employees like disposables. At one point, people are going to leave because of how messed up the management is.

    Pros

Great place to start out - able to work on business development while working on client delivery.

    Cons

Smaller firm so there's less room to grow. If there is growth, it seems to take a while - a bit uncharacteristic for a consulting firm.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Salary is decent if you work as a contractor for them and the atmosphere was pretty laid back, also the physical location of the office is nice..

    Cons

Management is underqualified to hold the positions they hold. The employee turn around is extremely high. There were also unethical business practices as to where employees were terminated for issues related to health and if you are a woman and looking to start a family while at this company, you might as well consider yourself terminated.

    Advice to Management

Deploy best practices and discontinue the use of unethical business processes.
