    I have been working at Catholic Charities USA full-time

    Pros

    The people I work with love their job and the are very passionate about the homeless population.

    Cons

    You work with the homeless. You rarely see a success story, mostly failures. You are expected to work crazy shifts, sometimes by yourself. I work 4-10s, with no lunch and rarely a break.

    There is no advice. It is what it is.

    Good schedule, flexible, gained experience

    Cons

    no help from HR- useless, place of work was unethical and performing illegal actions, employees working there did not know enough about the population they were working with, overworked, stressful

    Advice to Management

    Hire individuals with more experience- from program directors to residential staff, Have the human resource department ACT like a HR department.
