I worked at Catholic Charities USA full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

This agency has a great mission. They help kids, homeless, destitute. It is very rewarding work on a personal level.

    Cons

Low pay - it is a non-profit. But you can bet the management is getting paid well! Employment here at the worker level is a revolving door. Their clientele is often treated better than their employees.

I worked at Catholic Charities USA part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Working to help others is a what Catholic Charities is about. Helping people through hard times, being the place to go when no one else wants to help. Seeing the light come on in a person's eyes and that smile of thanks.

    Cons

Low pay and not enough hours to do all the work. Being left out of the loop. No direction on how to do a job and letting just anyone work there. Need to support each employee not just those who gossip and put other down.
