I worked at Catholic Health Services full-time

    Pros

building is nice. co-workers can be friendly.

    Cons

management is disrespectful and lies to employees. example, in case of emergency like a hurricane you are required to stay at work for however many days the emergency has been declared for. you will be pressured or loose your job. you will be required to actively work not to assist patients or staff but to provide billable service like therapy so the company can make money. You as the provider will not be paid for actively working. If you complain you risk loosing your job and that's made clear. What's promised to you as compensation which is not your fare wage you will not get.

I worked at Catholic Health Services full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Location is central, offices are decent, other employees for the most part are good to work with.

    Cons

The ridiculous company policies make it a pain. Mandatory flu shots for non clinical staff or you are forced to take a 4 month leave with no pay. Women are not allowed to wear sleeveless garments - not spaghetti straps, ANYTHING that shows your shoulders. Posting on social media about personal beliefs that don't align with their mission are grounds for termination. Insurance is terrible and doesn't cover birth control for women period. HR dept. is kind of pointless and doesn't take action when needed. They always lose good employees because they don't pay well enough and pile on additional work to the people that stay with no salary bump.

    Advice to Management

You should appreciate the employees you have and acknowledge their work and dedication. Not only with words but with salary increases.
