I have been working at Catholic University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is a variety of job opportunities on campus for undergraduate and graduate students who want to earn extra money while attending the university.

    Cons

The communication around the school is often lacking especially between departments.

    Advice to Management

Please learn to communicate to each other and respond to questions on a timely basis and not sporadically. Waiting for weeks for someone to email you back with a question about education or employment is unprofessional and frustrating.

The atmosphere is unmatched at CUA and there is a tangible passion for the work and efforts of the university.

Critical eye on the way things are done and the outcomes of the efforts, not just the effort itself.

I have been working at Catholic University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

We have a beautiful campus with a lot of friendly and interesting people. Because the university is so vast and varied, I feel like I learn something new everyday! Also, there's tons of vacation and sick time, half-day Fridays in the summer, and tuition benefits.

    Cons

Lots of office politics, salaries that are lower than you might earn in other places.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more cooperation between administrative offices. Higher salaries!

    Cons

Working as a student is okay. pay is terrible and the hors are limited. There is no room for advancement while you are a student.
