I worked at Catholic University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very laid back, students are engaged and it is fun to work with them. Most of the new labs are very well written and the lab periods go smoothly.

    Cons

Some of the lab equipment is very old and there is not enough of it, and the labs are very small. Hopefully Mahoney Hall can be fixed up for Chemistry again someday.

    Advice to Management

Continue to keep rewriting the labs and keeping everything organized. It helps the labs, students and TAs work very well together.

Too many lazy employees who would not even do the bare minimum

    Advice to Management

    More management of late-night crew.

    Pros

Easy job, great working environment. They are also really understanding if you have class conflicts, etc.

    Cons

There's a lot of turnover, so it's difficult to find a manager to file complaints/seek improvement because it's a bit chaotic.

It can also get a little repetitive.

I worked at Catholic University part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Learned a lot, and was given many hands on projects of my own to do. Very good if looking into a journalism career in the future! This position was part time and also paid which was great for being able to work multiple jobs to not only earn experience within a field, but also earn money over the summer.

    Cons

A lot of writing involved, most of which was not incredibly exciting. I enjoyed the program a lot, however realized journalism was not my thing. The job could sometimes get redundant a bit boring.

    Advice to Management

Great job on the intern position, I really did enjoy it! I learned a lot, and also felt like I made connections with the people within the office. They provided great opportunities for the future regarding another internship, yet also very helpful in moving to a different job in providing references. Thank you!
