Great People & Casual Work Environment

      Pros

Wonderful coworkers, casual dress code and great office space. As an intern, I feel very included in meetings and brainstorming of new ideas. I am able to work on real projects and my supervisors give me a manageable, fun workload. Paid internship! Flex time!

      Cons

Not the highest paying, but it's still paid and that can be difficult to find.

      Pros

Flexible hours. Game hour on Fridays. Casual dress. Work in software without having to relocate.

      Cons

Poor benefits and pay. Performance metrics implemented (all work is timed to the minute). Firings pretty regular event. Custom developers often complained of unfair compensation. Work life balance varies. Some work too much, some work a normal 40. Explained overall project management and development process to employees at other companies for comparison and was told how SalesPad does things is unusual and backwards. Was told "Definitely not Agile." Don't work here if you can't deal with being micromanaged and don't plan to stay. Few employees stay past 2 years.

      Stepping Stone Company

      Pros

There is freedom to make this job what you want, do not expect to be micromanaged. You also have the freedom to dress how you like with a casual dress code. If you are looking for a stepping stone, SalesPad is a great place to start a career. The managers truly care about the company and their employees so there is a lot of passion floating around.

      Cons

Although the owners invest in the company, they do not invest in their employees and proper training. Do not expect to get much pay or benefits, you will have a hard time negotiating anything. There is a major lack of accountability between departments and if something goes wrong don't expect someone to step up to the plate. There is very little room for advancement so do not expect to get a promotion anytime soon.

      Good for starting out

      Pros

Fun people to work with. Not too demanding. Casual dress and Fun Fridays at 4pm. Free unlimited monster and coffee.

      Cons

Management is slow and they don't have the authority to make any decisions. This is a Reactive company not a Proactive company. Try to get the fair salary upon hiring in. Good luck after that.
