I have been working at Cavium full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Stock is meaningful. Technical work is cutting edge. Brilliant coworkers. Decent salary. Lot of growth.

    Cons

Not enough diversity in workforce. Not with women or cultures. All senior leaders are white males. Not encouraging. Basic benefits. Low 401k match. Basic, $ dental (better to be self insured with FSA). Pay too much for medical. When I took the job, did not add up how much out of pocket costs for benefits. Am paying more for dental;/medical coverage but am getting less for it. No bonus either. No maternity or paternity paid leave. No adoption assistance. Expect to work 55+ hours/ week regularly.

    Advice to Management

Reward employees with bonus + more time off. Recruiters are calling daily. Easy to pull from Cavium.
