    Approves of CEO

I worked at Cayen Systems full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good amount of autonomy, usually flexible, limited pressure. Good industry and values can motivate some employees to make an impact.

    Cons

Compensation is limited. Accountability/responsibility is frequently overlooked. Those in positions of decision making often defer which causes impediments.

    Advice to Management

Identify the employees who want to make a difference and cultivate their growth. Find ways to capitalize on the positives.

  2. Helpful (1)

"A truly awful place to work; a few bright individuals often overruled by incompetent supervisors and micro management."

I worked at Cayen Systems full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Few and far between. Again, there are some bright indivisuals who will attempt to work together as a team, however do not expect every one to be pleasant or work well as a team.

    Cons

Treats salary employees as if they are hourly, poor benefits, and expect to work a majority of holidays despite most clients being out of the office. Petty office gossip and nepotism run rampent.

    Advice to Management

Identify your talent and develop them and listen to their advice in lieu of being threatened by them.

  3. "Inconsistent and chaotic. No valid business plan to steer direction. No vision or clear direction from leadership."

    Pros

Dedicated people for the most part, rooted in a good cause and willing to continually improve the environment and products.

    Cons

Lack of consistent leadership and no planning made for a chaotic work environment. 75% turnover in one year due to frustration and obstacles that thwarted the ability of many employees to thrive.

  4. "Great opportunities!"
